02/14/1980 Village Inn - Kilkenny, Ireland
Another Day, Twilight, Out of Control
comment: Setlist is incomplete.

02/18/1980 The Blue Lagoon - Sligo, Ireland
Silver Lining, Stories for Boys, Another Day, Twilight, Out of Control
comment: U2 perform at the Blue Lagoon for a guaranteed fee of a hundred pounds. Tickets are priced at two pounds each. Setlist is incomplete, but Silver Lining opened and Out of Control closed.

02/19/1980 Classes - Bray, Ireland
Another Day, Twilight, Out of Control
comment: Setlist is incomplete.

02/20/1980 Leisureland - Galway, Ireland
Another Day, Twilight, Out of Control
comment: Setlist is incomplete. U2 performed as part of University College Galway's Rag Week; 2,000 people attended.

02/21/1980 Crescent Hall - Limerick, Ireland
setlist not available
comment: Although the capacity of the venue was 1,500, only four hundred people attended and fights broke out among the crowd. Afterwards, Edge was derisive towards the youth of Limerick in the Irish Press, dismissing the crowd as "boot-boys just out for a fight". U2 have not performed in Limerick since.

02/23/1980 St John's Hall - Tralee, Ireland
Silver Lining, Another Day, Twilight, Out of Control
comment: Setlist is incomplete. Admission is £2.

02/24/1980 Queen's Hall - Ennis, Ireland
setlist not available

02/26/1980 National Stadium - Dublin, Ireland
Silver Lining, Speed of Life, Life on a Distant Planet, Stories for Boys, Trevor, Another Time, Another Place, Another Day, Pete the Chop, The Dream is Over, Cartoon World, Jack in a Box, Shadows and Tall Trees, A Day Without Me, Twilight, Boy-Girl, Out of Control
encores: The Electric Co.
comment: The main set of this concert was broadcast by RTE Radio 2. The performance of "Cartoon World" is included on Boy's remastered bonus disc in 2008. A Hot Press review notes that there was a "stinging encore", "The Electric Co.", which is the first known performance of that song. It features noticeably different lyrics and a different solo but is nonetheless recognizable as the song it would later become.

02/27/1980 Lavey Inn - Cavan, Ireland
setlist not available
comment: Promotional material in the Anglo Celt for this show contains a photo of Edge labelled as "Bono".

02/28/1980 Regional Technical College - Waterford, Ireland
setlist not available
comment: U2 perform in the student canteen at the Regional Technical College, Waterford. Admission cost £1.

02/29/1980 Town Hall - Newry, Northern Ireland
Another Day, Twilight, Stories for Boys, Boy-Girl, Out of Control
comment: Setlist incomplete. Billed as “U.2” supporting their single “Stories for Boys and Girls / Out of Control”. Admission was £1.50. U2 have only played two gigs in Northern Ireland outside of Belfast. This is the second; the first was in Coleraine on 1979-11-20.

03/01/1980 Arcadia Ballroom - Cork, Ireland
11 O'Clock Tick Tock, Speed of Life, Life on a Distant Planet, Stories for Boys, Trevor, Another Time, Another Place, Another Day, The Dream is Over, Pete the Chop, Cartoon World, Jack in a Box, Shadows and Tall Trees, A Day Without Me, Twilight, In Your Hand, Boy-Girl, Out of Control, The Electric Co.
comment: "11 O'Clock Tick Tock" is listed under that name on the written set. Audio bootlegs of the next day in Tullamore have the band performing "Silver Lining", suggesting the band may have changed the song's name before the lyrics (which anecdotally were inspired by events later in March). Last known performance of "In Your Hand". "Life on a Distant Planet" is written on the setlist as "No Man's Land", and "Pete the Chop" is written as "Frank the Chop".

Some sources list a concert in Cork on 4 February 1980; that show never actually existed. Photographs attributed and dated to that night (including by Rolling Stone) are mislabelled and actually come from this show. Admission is £2, or £1.50 for students.

03/02/1980 Garden Of Eden Club - Tullamore, Ireland
Silver Lining, Speed of Life, Life on a Distant Planet, Stories for Boys, Trevor, Another Time, Another Place, Another Day, The Dream is Over, Pete the Chop, Cartoon World, Jack in a Box, Shadows and Tall Trees, A Day Without Me, Twilight, Boy-Girl, Out of Control
comment: U2 are billed as "U.2" and are given a ninety minute slot; they are followed by the Tony Stevens Band, a showband allocated a two hour slot. On some promo material, however, U2 get more prominent billing. The date and location of this concert have often been misreported over the years, with the date reversed (i.e. 3 February) and the town's name mangled. We currently believe this was U2's earliest performance in Tullamore.

Audio bootlegs of this night have U2 performing "Silver Lining" but the night before "11 O'Clock Tick Tock" is on the written setlist, suggesting the song's name may have changed before the lyrics did (which were anecdotally inspired by events later in March).
